Sufalam – Chole Masala
Sufalam Chole Masla is veg .product. It is like garam masala and blend of selected authentic spices,which acquires a subtle taste and royal aroma in dishes. Chole is known nationwide to be one of the most preferred and nutritious dishes of North India. Chole Masala helps camouflage the bland taste of chickpeas and makes any dish you add it in mouth-watering, a perfect treat for all occasions. It also blends well in curries, giving them a unique aroma, enhancing its traditional taste and flavour.
Heat 1 tsp oil in a kadhai. Add 1 chopped onion, 2 green chillies, 2 cloves garlic, 4-5 cashews, 1 tsp poppy seeds, 1 tsp cumin, 1 tsp kasoori fenugreek, some ginger and fry lightly. Make a paste by adding 1/2 cup water. Fry the paste in 3 tbsp ghee. Add 2 tomato puree, 1 tsp Waghmare chilli powder, tsp turmeric powder and 2 tsp Sufalam Chole Masala. Add 1 cup green peas, cook till the ghee separates. Add enough water and 250 grams of Boiled Chole, cook for 5 minutes and serve hot.
